Homegrown
The 9th Annual Homegrown Film Festival returns to The Argyros on November 29.
homegrown film festival
The Homegrown Film Festival (HGFF) began as a grassroots fundraiser for the Friends of the Sawtooth Avalanche Center (FSAC, 501c3). What started with a single projector and a small group of friends has grown into the Wood River Valley’s premier winter kick-off event.
HGFF celebrates the work of filmmakers, athletes, and artists with deep local roots and global recognition, showcasing stories inspired by the mountains and the community that calls them home. It also gives local kids the chance to debut their films on the big screen—an opportunity of a lifetime.
Looking ahead, Homegrown plans to produce and fund its own independent films, creating new opportunities for donors to support authentic storytelling and community impact.
